About

I have obtained my first BSc in Economics from Cairo University, Egypt. I then started my expat life journey in 2004, after I got married, a journey I have been on for almost 19 years. I have lived in London, Dubai, Doha, Saudi, and now Bahrain. I have three beautiful children who have supported me through my journey with illness, grief, study, and career.

In 2012, following my passion in helping people, I started acquiring my second degree in Psychology with the University of Derby, UK, enrolling through three different academic programs, the foundation year in Psychology, the General Psychology Master, in order to finally obtain my Master of Science in Health Psychology in 2017, completing Stage 1 of 2 in becoming Chartered, and earning the Graduate Membership and Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership with the British Psychologists Society (BPS). My career was paused for five years due to relocating, Covid, and being diagnosed with Mast Cells Activation Syndrome that required me to go through a one and a half year course of treatment to stabilise my condition.

Now, I have taken, what I believe, is the next natural step in my journey, which is being certified as a life coach, and become an emotional, spiritual, and personal growth coach. A step that would complete a long continuous passionate journey towards helping people make peace with their past and unfold their brightest future.

My Passion

I would like to acknowledge those who have inspired and encouraged me to work for my passion; those who have always and still believe in what I can achieve through my journey in pursuing what I am passionate for. First and foremost, my parents, as they have always been a role model in helping people. They were always there for those who needed them, and have been always very generous with everyone who crossed their path. Although my father passed away in 2017, the waves of his generosity and kindness are still present today. Helping people, being kind and generous turned into a passion, and became part of who I am. My forever gratitude, as well, goes to family and friends who have always seen the best in me, believed in me, and always encouraged me to work for my passion.

In the pursuit of passion, the experiences one encounters have a great impact on shaping who they become. I would say that my passion stems mainly from my life journey. Grief is one of the main aspects; losing people I loved so much has made me softer on the inside. Illness has showed me how strong I am and has increased my gratitude towards what I have. Difficult people have shown me how I should never treat others. All of life turbulences have increased my self-awareness, as well as my awareness of others. On the other hand, being an expat has expanded my knowledge about diversity, and has opened doors of respect, tolerance, and warmth between people from different religious, culture, and ethnic backgrounds. All have enhanced my sense of sensitivity, compassion, empathy, and appreciation towards others. I came to actually see that everyone is fighting a battle we know nothing about. My passion for helping people has blossomed with every single encounter.

I find absolute bliss in helping people go through difficult times, and cheering for them when they succeed. I try my best to be there and to hold their hands, whenever they need it, the same way many people did to me through my life. I hope I can make, as many people as I can, experience this sense of bliss, find their inner peace, and make their dreams come true.

My Goal

I am led by a desire to serve humanity; Emily Dickenson’s poem perfectly epitomises this world view:

“If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain;

If I can ease one life the aching, or cool one pain, or help one fainting robin unto his nest again,

I shall not live in vain.”

My ultimate goal is to be the one holding the light for people while they make peace with their past, and unfold their own path towards a new brighter future, till they arrive at their beautiful destination. Waves of empathy and compassion are created with every person healing, for “Healed people, heal people.” As Gandhi said “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” I hope I can be this change, while playing a role in others’.
